of the midwest. one city that didn't see much with the storm system is the city of chicago. we were seeing a lack of snow since earlier in the year. no snow in chicago. we are not seeing any snow already into almost mid december out here. current temperatures behind the storm cold 10 degrees outside of minneapolis 24 in kansas city. the cold air has moved so far south we are lacking at a freezing temperature in san antonio. 29 in dallas. even in new orleans with the current temperature at 46 degrees. as we head into the afternoon hours take minneapolis for instance 19 degrees for a high temperature. in new york city you will see the impact of the cooler air. high temperature 47. we have lirnging showers but across northeast we will continue to see the drying trend and sunshine as we head into the afternoon hours. behind the storm very quiet conditions across the plains. next storm arrives in the pacific northwest as we head into later on today into tonight. >> maria molina thank you very much. we begin with 5@5:00. three people killed a helicopter crash in northern illinois. crashed

days in kansas city. they are continuing to learn more about the events leading up with the incident with javon and his girlfriend casandra perkins and what will happen to zoe. javon's mother the raise the three month old in long island. funeral arrangements haven't been made for casandra or javon. the first thing out of the head coach's mouth. thoughts and prayers going out to both families. javon a starter of the kansas city chiefs and his girlfriend was active in the organization as well and finding out more about the head injuries. stemming from a argument that happened friday night as casandra came home late from a concert. he shot her four times and then came here and took his life . continuing what will happen in the next coming days. they have not made funeral arrangements for javon or casandra. >> brian: thank you . the owner of the teams he had no history of concussions . the other thing is, they believe that he was drinking and using a lot of drugs leading up to i don't know how you function at a high level but he was. >> steve: and blaming it on the head injuries. extraor

look at the current temperature already in the 60s kansas city dallas and antonio. new york city on the mild side current temperature at 50 degrees. when you factor in the warm temperatures and humidity in place we are going to have to deal with areas of dense fog and that's the story across portions of great lakes in chicago, portions of the southeast and city of new orleans part of southern texas so we can be see can the weather related tropical delays. take it easy out there. across portions of the midwest coastal areas of the southeast. 82 degrees will be the high temperature in dallas.antonio. upper 50s in new york city. upper 60s in the city of chicago. very unseasonable for this time of year. we are looking at upper 70s in the city of phoenix. we are looking at areas in the midwest. that frontal system exiting the rockies into portions of the dakotas and nebraskas. not a big deal with showers and storms. behind that system is when you start to notice a bit of a cool down in temperatures. we have showers through the northeast overnight now drying out and dealing with warm temperat
